Our Tribes

Every Adivasi eBazar product is gathered, grown, or made by a tribal community with generations of forest knowledge. These are our partners.

Gond — Bastar, Chhattisgarh & Kanha, Madhya Pradesh

Master honey-hunters of the sal forests. Gond collectors climb to wild hives using techniques passed down for generations, taking only the surplus so the colony thrives. They also bring us forest tamarind, kodo millet, and premium bilona ghee.

Bhil — Satpura & Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh

When the jamun trees bloom in the Satpura hills, Bhil collectors gather the deep amber single-blossom honey we prize. In spring they gather and sun-dry fragrant mahua blossoms — the forest's own sweetener.

Baiga — Mandla, Madhya Pradesh

Keepers of the bilona tradition: curd churned by hand, simmered slow over wood fire, from free-grazing native A2 cows. The Baiga also grow heirloom red rice on rain-fed forest plots, hand-pounded to keep the nutritious bran intact.

Toda — Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu

High in the shola grasslands, Toda communities tend hives that produce our pale, fragrant multiflora hill honey — dozens of wildflowers in a single jar.

Santhal — Dumka, Jharkhand

Foragers of the rare wild sidr harvest — thick, caramel-toned honey from ber flowers, one of the most sought-after honeys in the world.

Fair pay, in writing

We pay 24–32% above local market rates, and every product page shows the exact amount that goes back to the community. When you buy a jar, you know who it supports.
